Welcome to the website of The Harrogate and District Branch of The British Sugarcraft Guild.

The HARROGATE & DISTRICT BRANCH is one of around 140 branches of THE BRITISH SUGARCRAFT GUILD.

It holds monthly meetings to promote, stimulate, share knowledge, develop talents and endorse standards within sugarcraft.  Take a look at the website and learn more about the Guild: www.bsguk.org

Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of the month at 7.30pm.  Meetings begin with a cup of tea or coffee and a chat with other members and any visitors.  This is followed by a demonstration or workshop which usually lasts around 1½ to 2 hours.

Meetings held at Harlow Community Centre,Harlow Avenue, Harrogate HG2 0AS, known locally as “The Green Hut”.

As well as our monthly meetings, members will have the opportunity to participate in full day workshops, outings to sugar craft related venues, and be part of an award winning team of cake decorating enthusiasts.  Members have individually and as a branch entered and won many competitions at both local, national and international exhibitions.  All this has been achieved whilst remaining a friendly group of people with a passion for their art.
